Obituary

Allan Lloyd Clark passed away at the 8th Street Group Home on Tuesday, May 9th, 2023, at the age of 78 years.  A Celebration of Life will be held in the fall of 2023.  Allan’s cremated remains will be laid to rest beside his sister, Danalee in Mountain View Cemetery, Revelstoke at a later date.

Allan was born in Revelstoke on January 4, 1945, and lived in various communities before returning to Revelstoke in 2012, coming from Vernon.  As a youngster, Allan dreamed of being a police officer or working with C.P. Rail.  Unfortunately, his physical limitations prevented this.  He did enjoy bowling, curling and liked to type.  Allan loved watching sports on television – The Toronto Blue Jays and Vancouver Canucks as well as attending the local Revelstoke Grizzlies hockey games.  A highlight for him was attending a live Blue Jays game with his caregiver Will.

Allan was predeceased by his parents and one sister Danalee.  He is survived by three siblings: Sheryl (Cliff) Wolgram of Kamloops, Don (Marie) Clark of Parksville and Julie (Keith) Burgart of Revelstoke as well as many nieces, nephews, good friends and his wonderful caregivers.
