Debora Lynn Malyk

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Debora “Debbie” Lynn Malyk, who passed away on February 16, 2026 in Salmon Arm at the age of 63.

Born on March 15, 1962, in Milton, Ontario, to Barbara and Art, Debbie was known for her wicked sense of humour, perseverance, and fun-loving spirit. She spent most of her life working as a chef, a career that reflected her creativity and passion for bringing people together. Debbie found joy in music, crafting jewellery, travelling, and spending meaningful time with her friends and family.

She is lovingly remembered by her daughter, Desiree; her mother, Barbara; her siblings, Richard, Kim, Mark, and Kathy; and many cherished friends. She was predeceased by her father, Art.

The family would like to extend their sincere gratitude to the staff at Shuswap Lake General Hospital for their compassionate care and support during her final days.

She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
