Marnie Filipchuk Obituary

Marianne Winifred (Marnie) Filipchuk passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 18th, 2022, with her family by her side. There will be no formal funeral service by Marnie’s request.

Marnie was born in Vancouver, B.C. on September 10, 1947, and had been a resident of Revelstoke since 1979. She loved fishing, hiking, and gardening. Family was most important to Marnie and she loved the time she spent with each of them.

Marnie is survived by her husband Don of Revelstoke; three children: Jason Filipchuk (Michelle (Mishka) Sturley) of Clearwater, Shawn Filipchuk (Dylan Powell) of Revelstoke and Michelle Filipchuk of Canoe; grandchildren: Aiden, Nyah, Karsyn, and Alexa; four sisters; numerous nieces, nephews, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, aunts, uncles and cousins and many friends.
